Walk into any shop and pick up a lens cleaner. Turn it around. Most of them are built on alcohol, petrol, thinner or spirit because those solvents are cheap, they evaporate fast, and they make a bottle look like it “works.”

Not “low alcohol,” not “mild formula” strictly 0.0% alcohol, ammonia, or petroleum distillates.
